Thrilling match for the first women

FC St. Pauli 1. Women won 3-2 in a thrilling match against their table neighbors FC Jesteburg-Bendestorf in the field arena. The brown and white team played outnumbered for two thirds of the game. After the half-time lead of 2-0 and the interim equalizer, the first women still didn't let themselves be disturbed. Rinast converted one of the beautifully executed counterattacks into a celebrated winning goal in the 1th minute.

After what felt like an eternity, I was once again at a league game for FC St. Pauli's 1st women's team. The visit was really worth it. Despite the low temperatures, the icy wind and the annoying cathedral backdrop, I was able to experience a really interesting game. I was also able to take what was probably my most unusual goal photo. I just had my new one Tilt lens from TT Artisan screwed onto my camera. I actually wanted to take a funny picture of the game in front of the Feldstrasse bunker when Mia Sophie Jonsson ran alone towards the goalkeeper. In the rush, I twisted the focus ring of the manual lens by feeling, but correctly - et voilá.

Thirteen minutes later, the goalscorer was sent off with a yellow-red card. To be honest, I didn't see why. The game was interrupted at the time and Jonsson had nothing to do with the situation. At halftime I asked other fans and no one could really figure it out. Since AnSo Greifenberg had meanwhile converted one of their top scoring chances to make it 2-0 at halftime, we weren't worried.

However, the opposing team came out of the break determined and tied the first women in their own half. Caffarelli and Reisser, who came on during the break, equalized the lead within 6 minutes. So in the middle of the second half it was a draw in the exciting match. Even though the two goals conceded were somewhat fortunate, they were still deserved. FC Jesteburg-Bendestorf put a lot of pressure on and left St. Pauli hardly from their own half. The minority seemed to be making itself felt.

However, the home team was now able to free itself somewhat from its grip and put some successful pinpricks into the opponents' attack with fine counterattacks. In the 80th minute, Rachel Rinast used one of these neatly combined quick attacks to score the much celebrated 3-2 goal. The thrilling match picked up speed again - as did the rides at the now open Sunday Cathedral next door.

In the 90th minute, the number of players on both teams was at the same level again. The opposing goalkeeper Staack defended the ball from the brown and white striker Rinast with her hand outside the penalty area. St. Pauli was now in control, but the precision in the finish was now lacking. Having to play outnumbered since the 29th minute had taken its toll. The final whistle came at a very convenient time.

Thanks to the threesome in the exciting match, FC St. Pauli 1. Women now jump ahead of their opponents in the table.

What was also nice about the game was finally getting to know Eddy. I stumbled across him on social media and am happy that someone is enriching the FC St. Pauli Fotokosmos with new image ideas and also analog photos from the Millerntor. What was new to me was that he makes life difficult for himself and implements his image effects in real time. Please leave a like.
