Portfolio

Some people might be surprised by my portfolio as a portrait photographer. Most people think of me as a sports photographer, usually from the sidelines at Hamburg's Millerntor. That doesn't surprise me, after all, I've been following the ups and downs of FC St. Pauli for several years now. And it all started with sports photography. Back then at SV Darmstadt 98 when Bruno Labbadia became a professional there. Later, I took photos as a freelancer at the district league clubs there for the South Hesse daily newspaper.

For many years I have preferred to work as a portrait photographer, specializing in people who are not camera-experienced and in teasing out natural moments. My portfolio shows a small excerpt of these works. And I hope that there will be many more pictures. For me, photographing people is the highest honor I can imagine as a photographer. She shows great trust.
