After being overjoyed at Tuesday The match on Saturday was a heartbreaking affair. Borussia Mönchengladbach began their winless streak at the Millerntor stadium around six months ago and have now ended it there. Particularly helpful was the fact that FC St. Pauli's team wandered around the pitch completely unimaginatively and showed no desire to play at any point.
Why the team in brown and white, after a convincing start to the season and a great cup match just a few days ago, has now been sliding down the league table for six games without any ideas or a win is beyond me.
