FC St. Pauli suffered another unnecessary defeat at the Millerntor. This time against Eintracht Frankfurt, who only needed a concentrated performance. Frankfurt won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Omar Marmoush, because the team had more power in the decisive moments.
Before the game, I would have expected a defeat. Some of the numerous press people who had travelled from Frankfurt were firmly expecting a defeat for Hesse. After the game, it must be said that the defeat of the brown and white team was unnecessary. The expected goals were even on FC St. Pauli's side. Ultimately, they were lacking a little luck and a little robustness in front of goal.
However, in my opinion, the unnecessary defeat is actually a small success. The brown and white team, which was weakened by a lack of replacements, also had to cope with the loss of Eggestein. Nevertheless, FC St. Pauli was able to stand up to Eintracht Frankfurt.
The two new players Sands and especially Weißhaupt made a good impression in their first appearance for FC St. Pauli.
The Eintracht fans didn't make a good impression. What kind of a bunch of idiots are they? In 2025 they're still painting posters against vaccinations and the CSD? Incredibly stupid.
The story becomes even funnier when you know that the coaches have their own security person. He stood next to the coach's bench to make sure nothing happened at St. Pauli.
Here are a few more pictures from today:
Hopefully there won't be an unnecessary defeat on Wednesday. That would be doubly bitter.
Thanks for the great photos
Thank you for your always kind comments.

Dude, you could have saved yourself the final sentence! 😎
Otherwise, thanks for the report and the great photos as always!

I wrote the final sentence so that it doesn't come to that 🙂
