On the Road in October

In October I was traveling a lot for various reasons. I took some photos that don't really fit anywhere. But I still think they're too beautiful to let them gather dust on my hard drive. That's why I'm showing them here - maybe you'll like the pictures too.

The recordings are associated with the motto “On the road” in the broadest sense. And of course, they were all taken with the same camera. You can find a detailed report on this further up in the blog.

But first the photos on the topic “On the road in October”:

In case there are any camera nerds reading this: the first three pictures were taken with the Apo-Summicron 50mm, the last three with the 8-element Summicron 35mm from 1963. The first three photos were taken with a very new lens that "looks old" thanks to being photographed through inferior glass. The last three were taken with an old lens.

I like that with the Leica rangefinder system I can control exactly how the results should look. I no longer have to spend hours on the computer afterwards to create a certain look. And I'm always small and light when I'm on the go - at least with the camera 🙂

Finally, something completely different: in my last blog post, I already mentioned that a video by Serdal Celebi with an interview with me will soon be appearing on his channel "Trust me blind". This is now online. I had the chance to talk about my everyday life at FC St. Pauli games and other brown and white activities for roughly a quarter of an hour. The video also includes pictures of me that were taken at the last football game of the first team, but also at the women's blind football international matches. Have a look!

What was surprising to me was that Serdi held the camera during the interview (and of course at other points too). I hadn't expected that, because Serdi has been blind for almost 30 years...

If you like the video – which I think is entertaining – please leave a like or subscribe.

If you like my travel snapshots, I would be happy to receive a comment here.
