In the top game of the blind football Bundesliga, the reigning German champions FC St. Pauli fought for a 1-1 draw against the current league leaders SG BG Blista Marburg. The numerous spectators saw an exciting game at a high level. Paul Ruge gave the brown-whites an early 1-0 lead in Hamburg with a great ball into the corner. For a long time, this was the only dangerous situation in front of the Marburg Gate.
The league leaders from Marburg were the more active team and were stopped once too often by a foul. 20 seconds before the end of the first half, national player Nico Rother was able to convert the 1 meter goal to equalize for Marburg.
With hot temperatures, the game became more open in the second half. Paul Ruge still had a chance to score the winning goal, but Marburg also forced St. Pauli keeper Matze Gutzmann to make saves. However, there was a lack of precision on both sides. The draw was ultimately fair.
Unfortunately, Philipp Versen was injured in a duel and had to be substituted. Get well soon!
Tomorrow Marburg will face Stuttgart in the next top game from 13 p.m., while FC St. Pauli will host Hertha BSC in the last game of the day at 15 p.m. at Borgweg. It's worth a visit. Admission to BZBS Hamburg is free.
