First home game day, first zero number. In the game between FC St. Pauli and Fortuna Düsseldorf on the second matchday of the 2/2023 season, no goals were scored at the Millerntor. Nevertheless, a respectable game was played. Ultimately it was due to the lack of Fortune and the presence of Florian Kastenmeier in Fortuna's box. So, enough with the obvious puns.
After a nervous start from the boys in brown and white, they got better and better into the game and repeatedly posed problems for the good team from Düsseldorf, especially in the second half.
