Now the next unusual second division season begins for FC St. Pauli. I can quickly show you pictures that were unusual for me when they were created. Through the Restrictions due to Corona and the summer break, I have since March neither entered the Millerntor nor saw the players. All the better when I stand in the jump well before opening time and Robin Himmelmann greets me with a smile. “Are you taking the pictures today?”
Once a year, Levi's, as one of FC St. Pauli's major sponsors, gets two hours to photograph players and/or coaches in their current collection of clothes. This time I was allowed to take over. Probably because I didn't completely screw up the team photos of the 1st women - whose main sponsor is Levi. The team photo of the 1st women was also on Friday in the Mopo to once again honor this partnership.
Back to the photo shoot with the players and coaches of the professionals. Two hours, two and a half locations, several outfits that those involved were allowed to choose - there are jobs that are less stressful. But everyone was super cooperative and very friendly. The results were then shown on the social media channels of FC St. Pauli and also Levi's. So here are just the pictures that I particularly like. Retouching by the talented, by the way Mr. Josh, who is also an excellent photographer – my profile picture was taken by him.
I'm excited to see when I can see everyone in the photos again. At least 15 photographers are currently allowed at the Millerntor per game. Before Corona there were 35-40 sports photographers. The places will be randomly assigned. Since the situation can certainly be considered unreliable, I took the opportunity to earn reliable money and will definitely miss the first two home games. Previously unimaginable - in the last 12 seasons I've actually only missed the games when I was with Viva con Agua on the go was. But the current situation makes it necessary to think a little more about business. And then I'm happy to accept secure orders as unsafe football accreditations...
I wish FC St. Pauli much success in the new season, thank Levi for the commission and would like to thank everyone involved for their cooperation!
