Up to now it has generally been the case that derby winners don't win many games after a derby victory. Before this game it was actually clear that this time it would be different. Because as in mathematics, where minus times minus equals plus, a double derby win means successful future weekends. But theory still has to become practice. It became…
FC St. Pauli confidently won 3-1 against VfL Osnabrück in an unspectacular game and was able to switch back for large parts of the second half. The weather was more spectacular – at least more varied. But there is nothing wrong with that at all. As far as I'm concerned, it can go on like this all season long.
I found it very unpleasant that all the goal celebrations were directed away from me. How am I supposed to take such good pictures?
Get well soon to Henk Veerman.
I then have the topic that determines the game day this reading recommendation for classification. Above all, the sports journalists (mainly from TV) who are attached to the umbilical cord of the powerful clubs are once again completely missing the point. This is hardly surprising, because on the one hand they have little connection to fan life and on the other hand they are cut off from the information channels in the clubs if they express a contrary opinion. It's a dilemma - and unfortunately far too many people only get information through these channels. The losers are not only fans, but also the sport in the long term. Football thrives on emotions – if you love operetta, you should go there. I really liked the banners on the north and south today.
And thanks also to USP for remembering those from Hanau who were killed by a Nazi. An anti-fascist way of life is the only right one.
Great pic!
