You can lose against Aue...

So we have to wait at least another season until we have the next chance to win a home game against Aue again. After 11 years, one year doesn't matter. But it is problematic because the FC St. Pauli team actually had everything under control. Unfortunately, the first goal probably came too early. FC St. Pauli's game was too oppressive in the first quarter of an hour. Then you might get the idea that this time you can easily swing the game home. But it doesn't work that way in this second league...

Whatever, wipe your mouth – let’s move on.

Of course, the provocation from the bus driver (!) from Erzgebirge Aue after the game doesn't work at all. Showing the middle finger several times in the direction of the back straight really doesn't reflect any sporting spirit. I've never seen so many beer cups flying.

Edit on February 17.2th: the bus driver mentioned has contacted us and asks for his view to be published:

"Before that, I was hit on the head with a full cup. Then I was spat on. Then I reacted a little too emotionally. Before that, I hadn't made any provocation towards the opposing team. In the photos, you only see me as the perpetrator. Why should I point the finger for no reason and after a win??? I had previously praised the fans for their loyalty and atmosphere. I've never had any problems with St. Pauli. On the contrary... The Henning flag is a very good friend of mine. We go to international matches together. I'm sorry if I was a little too angry."

I'm happy to comply with this request because I looked at all my pictures again after he contacted him. In one picture I can see that half of his hoody is wet - only then does he cheer towards the back straight and show the middle finger.

End of edit: let's agree - neither behavior belongs on a football field. OK?

Next weekend we'll see Tschauner and Heerwagen again. Hopefully this will be more harmonious...

  1. With all the hate around and with the bus driver: The fact that you captured this wonderful Dæhli moment makes me a little more happy.?
I'm always happy when I experience his passion and dynamism on the pitch and the disappointment after defeats.

  2. Viva from Aqua was very grateful for the numerous donations of cups. The fans were once again doing something good.
