This game definitely leaves me at a loss. In the 26th minute, FC St. Pauli's first shot came at Arminia Bielefeld's goal. Of course, that's far too little in our own stadium. However, that fits with the big advertising banner slogan that the unsympathetic brewer from Hamburg came up with: St. Pauli stands. Logical consequence is that I actually only took one picture in this cruel, bloodless first half.
Marvin Knoll came in for the second half and gave me my favorite picture of today's game. You can see the foul on him by Brian Behrendt.

Yes, the second half was better. Mostly thanks to Ryo Miyaichi – excellent game. Logical consequence: he scores the equalizing goal.
Of course, it's difficult to get into the game if you're behind after the opponent's first chance thanks to a penalty (unjustified according to Sky) in the 5th minute. The team has also been hit by the many injuries and has never played together in this constellation. Nevertheless, you can't present yourself the way FC St. Pauli's 11 did in the first half.
The second half gives hope – if only that new coaching team obviously finds the right words during the break. I also liked Kevin Lankford in his home game debut.
But with promotion that won't happen this season. Unfortunately, you have to take this into account. It's sad that the opportunity we had couldn't be taken advantage of after the excellent first half of the season. Let's hope things get better across the board next season.
