That was a very loud silence for the victims of National Socialism and a strong sign against the far-right. Certainly the most impressive choreography I have ever seen at Millerntor. I have no words to even begin to express how I felt in those silent minutes. I am a photographer, not a copywriter. In any case, I would like to thank everyone involved who put this tribute into practice so impressively. "And I know why I am standing here!"
For the people who weren't in the stadium: Holocaust Remembrance Day was the reason for a dead silence in the Millerntor when the teams arrived. The usual Hells Bells wasn't playing over the speakers either. Almost 30000 people commemorated the victims of National Socialism. On the north and south sides there were over a hundred double holders with the names of the people from St. Pauli who were murdered in the Holocaust.

Yes, football was also played: SV Darmstadt 98 with the early goal conceded and a strong goalkeeper. The game reminded me a bit of FC St. Pauli's away win on Thursday - only with the opposite sign. Shit happens! The new man in brown and white, Dimitris Diamantakos, also made a good impression. But 0:1 at the Millerntor against the Lilies is probably the standard result...

Goosebumps moment
finally a good photo of the nazihunter #favorite flag
A series of pictures that leaves me speechless too! I like to look at your pictures every game day, but this time they are super strong!
Chapeau!
Thank you!
It was so quiet, I could hear the hum of the light generators (?). Very moving moment in our stadium. That would be something for the 20 p.m. news. You captured great pictures. Points to the lilies.
