Before the game I would have been happy with a point, and after the game I am too, but with a tendency to say "it could have worked". Unfortunately it didn't - and although 1. FC Nuremberg had some very good chances, FC St. Pauli had the better ones and more. Above all: the team had obviously practiced set pieces. They really achieved something that I haven't seen this season. Aziz would have deserved a goal more than he deserved, but his free kick went just over the bar once and hit the crossbar once.
Now there are 5 points away from the relegation place, unfortunately downwards. I'm not afraid though. If the team continues to play with such concentration, the necessary points will be scored. I'm sure. Just as sure as saying that Monday games are still for ass...
