It's almost that time again: the 8th edition of the Millerntor Gallery is coming to the FC St. Pauli stadium. From July 5th to 8.7th The Millerntor becomes one of the largest art galleries in Hamburg. Over 100 international artists will once again renew the stadium circuit of the magical FC and refine it with art. Today the masterpieces of the 7th edition were painted over for the first time: the whole thing is called White Party and is far too small a name for a very emotional process. There are always a lot of stories hanging in the hallways last Millerntor Gallery and then suddenly everything is white.
The comforting thing is that new art will soon be adorning the walls. I heard the first names today and there will be exciting projects and artists at Millerntor Gallery #8, especially in the area of photography. Among other things, the G20 meeting that took place a year ago and has not yet been processed by district residents is visually discussed.
But of course other types of art will also be visible in the stadium. Some people have already decorated the fence at the media parking lot with interesting spray art today.
A visit to the Millerntor is worth it anyway, but from July 5th to 8th even non-football fans will get their money's worth. The Millerntor Gallery is much more than just an art market: lectures, music,... I can hardly wait. It's definitely worth it now official page in view. The motto of this year's event is "IdentiKEY".
And don't forget: the profits from the Millerntor Gallery flow into the work and projects of Viva con Agua de Sankt Pauli eV. This makes it possible for people in other regions of our world to go to a toilet and wash their hands afterwards. It sounds mundane, but unfortunately it is still not a given in large parts of our planet.
