In the best Freibeuter style, FC St. Pauli ensured that land is in sight again after scoring 5 goals against table neighbors Karlsruher SC. Of course, the saving shore is still far from being reached. Unfortunately, even for this convincing victory there are only three points.
Man of the Match is of course Aziz Bouhaddouz, because I have rarely seen a flawless hat trick that makes it 2-0.
After the game I had a quick chat with Philipp Heerwagen, who really wanted to keep a clean sheet. That explains why he was highly concentrated and destroyed the few chances his opponent had. An absolutely professional attitude, and not just from him, not to let up at 5-0.
The rest was a big celebration. Rightly so!
Still, I'd rather win 5-1 five times than 0-5 once. But I have even fewer problems with the team winning the next 0 games so exhilaratingly. Probably no one has 😉
