FC St. Pauli 1. Women – team photos

On Sunday it finally happened: the FC St. Pauli 1. Women start their second regional league season. It is high time to introduce the team here with pictures. The team's wish to "do something with the Feldstrassenbunker" was not so easy to implement from a photographic point of view, as the lighting conditions on the day varied greatly, the image section is limited by the brickwork at the bottom, but not all the players are the same size and then a safety net was put up during the summer break. I struggled a lot with that, but the players are mittlerweil to near mine Camera steady and experienced enough that I couldn't do too much wrong...

The best thing to do is to click on the first image once so that it becomes larger and then you can switch back and forth through the images on the right and left. Sorting is done by shirt number, only Carlotta and goalkeeping coach Jörn are missing...

I'm excited to see how the team will do in the second year of the regional league, which is known to be the most difficult. It certainly doesn't help that the start program is really not without it. On the first matchday we face Holstein Kiel: the only team that won twice against FC St. Pauli 1. Frauen last season. After all, the start will be a home game: it starts on September 3rd at 13:00 p.m in the so-called Feldstrasse Arena, i.e. the place behind the north. The entrance is between Jet-Tanke and the Feldstrasse subway stop, past the Restehof. Admission is free! It's worth getting there a little earlier because due to new requirements that the association has imposed on the club, certain routes will be different than last year. Repeat visitors will quickly find their way around and everything is new to new visitors anyway.

So come along despite the unusually early hour: there is a counter beer available right on the field...
