A win for the good feeling

Yes, finally football again at the Millerntor. Over 20000 spectators wanted to finally end the summer break and went to the friendly FC test match against the friends from Bremen in wet weather. Of course, the result doesn't matter at all, after all, SVW is in a completely different phase of preparation for the season. They also played with a better B team. Nevertheless, winning a test match like this is good for the feeling at the start of the season.

Nevertheless, everyone should have seen how easy it is Boys in brown and white When Bremen played quick one-touch football, they struggled at the back in defence. And the strikers will never have as much space up front in the league as they did on Saturday. Admittedly, the new FC St. Pauli team appeared to be well-coordinated and more variable in their forward movement than last season. With Allagui, Bouhaddoz now has a strike partner who can just as easily secure or distribute the balls up front. We will know what all this means after the first few days of the game. What hasn't changed is the poor light in front of the south, which remains the darkest corner in the stadium and doesn't make taking photos of cheering players nice. But hey, who cares about beautiful photos in front of the Süd - the main thing is that there is enough reason to celebrate. There is no reason to celebrate about the newly renovated places for wheelchair users, which now resemble a swimming pool. But I wouldn't be surprised if a remedy is found. There are still over 2 weeks until the first league game...
