Three games in one

First game of the new era Kauczinski and the emotions are back at the Millerntor. Of course, not everything that was previously gray will suddenly be gold again. Interestingly, the new coach is letting a very similar team onto the field, which previously produced rather lean footballing fare. After just 2 days of training together, it's understandable and psychologically certainly quite good for the battered players' souls. So today there was the first game in the first 45 minutes that can be described as trying and unfortunate at the back. It actually looks like the other home games before. OK, the penalty for Duisburg was very doubtful, but it's also unnecessary to go for four to one player. These standards must be practiced by the winter break at the latest. This is a real shortcoming in the brown and white defense in the first half of the season.

The second game took place at the start of the second half. Played well and turned the deficit around. Congratulations - you deserved to win this game. Unfortunately it ended with a red card for brown and white. I didn't see the situation, but it was probably unnecessary unsportsmanlike behavior on the part of Aziz Bouhaddouz - it can happen in a heated game and he himself will be unhappy with this action. This is how the third game of the day began, which Duisburg won again. Defended properly with ten people and yet again conceded such a stupid goal.

Ultimately, Duisburg was able to win two of today's three games, but still only took home one point. Of course I would have been happy with three points at the Millerntor for FC St. Pauli, but considering that we only won one of the three games today, one point isn't a bad result. Now it's time to wipe our mouths and start the second half of the season positively against Bochum.

And USP: awesome thing again! Looked really good and was probably a lot of work. Thanks for that! And here’s to the next 15 years…
