The current league leader of the Verbandsliga Hamburg had to play an away game against the second-to-last team in the table. On paper it's clear, but such games have to be won, especially at the end of the season. The women from FC St. Pauli got off to an energetic start against Eimsbüttel, but initially they lacked concentration and precision. It took three big chances before the bell rang for the first time in Eimsbüttel's box. As the game progressed, the superiority of FC St. Pauli's women became more and more noticeable. FC St. Pauli ultimately won the game 6-0.

The reward came in the afternoon on a different pitch: second-placed Wellingsbüttel only got one point in their game. This means that the championship can be bagged next Sunday at the away game in Wellingsbüttel. FC St. Pauli is currently 5 points ahead with three games left. That sounds like a worthwhile May Day trip…
