Do you think the headline sounds familiar? Right. But what else do you want to write about the series winners? Maybe that the team didn't allow itself to be disturbed by the defensive bulwark of the women from Eimsbüttel and created chance after chance. After Linda Sellami scored the redeeming 1-0 goal late in the first half, the attack continued to roll towards the Eimsbüttler TV goal in the second half. Team captain Inga Schlegel increased twice before the brown and white top scorer Nina Philipp made the final score 4-0. There were a lot of nice moves in between.
Undefeated, the absolute top game against league leaders from Wellingsbüttel will take place on November 15th at Feldstrasse. Unfortunately I can't be there, but I can highly recommend attending the game.
What else was there? The floodlights could be a little brighter. I rarely use ISO8000 on the D4 with a two-eighth zoom, especially not even for indoor sports. Whether the city of Hamburg's Olympic bid has improved the lighting system?

Aside from this rhetorical question, my mantra-like answer to the question I am often asked about which camera someone should buy has once again proven true: "It doesn't matter," I regularly say, "the important thing is good lenses." Now, good does not necessarily mean very wide aperture, but 1.4 is two f-stops better than 2.8. While mere mortals would wince at the price of the 2.8 lens, I needed two f-stops less ISO on the Leica thanks to the 1.4 35. If you save on the lens, you have to spend it on the camera. The lens will last for many years, but the camera is technically outdated after three years. So in the floodlit game I only had to use 8000 instead of 2000 ISO. And (almost) every camera can do that quite well. Even Leica.

Are you at the Bokal against Egenbüttel? On November 8.11th?
Unfortunately, no
I don't have anything to do with football, but I'm really excited about your pictures!!!
A nice compliment. Thanks.
We are the defensive bulwark and you are the 300! As always, the whole team is thrilled with the pictures!
I’m also excited about the team 🙂
So you are not a mere mortal… 😉
??
“While mere mortals cringe at the price of the 2.8 lens, I needed the Leica…”
: )
