Well, last game of the season. It's about the golden pineapple. Actually, everyone is just waiting for the game to finally end and the farewell to one of the greats in the FC St. Pauli team can begin.
Of course, the end of an outstanding playing career is always an emotional high point. Just like Boller on the pitch, many fans in the stands probably shed a few tears. Rightly so, in my opinion: after all, especially in St. Pauli, football and love are very close together. For me it was during the game because I had to concentrate on taking photos. But when I got home and picked out all the photos for the blog, I was done for too. Farewell, my dear Fabian Boll. If players like you didn't exist, you would have to invent them.
And did you notice that during the honors before the game it only rained during the short handover of the pictures for Fabian Boll?
What I particularly like about the pictures above is how the assistant referee, looking at my lens, thinks it's about him (picture 3).
I also thought it was nice that some players from Aue stayed on the lawn and watched the ceremony.
There is also a video from the back straight on YouTube that shows Thees Uhlmann's wonderful performance.
No, I haven't forgotten the other players who are leaving us. Maybe I’ll do another season review… 🙂

Beautiful pictures, Stefan... *sniff*…
Gorgeous!! *sniff*
What Frauke says. *sniff*
hooray, hooray, hooray!

Great photos, thank you!
Good pictures as usual! Good guy, the Boller, luckily he stays with your club... 😉
Hey, your pics really made me feel the energy from Millerntor, must have been an unforgettable experience. Amazing job, Stefan. Thanks for that!
Wow, goosebumps.
Luckily this year, no one you care about very much.
Wait and see… the travelers haven’t revealed themselves yet.
But there are actually no serious rumors. Except maybe Robin. That would be a great shame!
Oh, yes – Rainer Wulff… 🙁
Stefan Groenveld Oh, no, right? We grew up together at Millerntor, “the voice” and I. But that’s how it has to be, nothing lasts forever.
I still cry now when I think about saying goodbye to Boller.
