Huge block flag on the back straight

Finally the new big back straight was used for a huge block flag. And because parts of my fan club were involved in the production of the wonderful material, my telephone wires had been glowing for days. It's wonderful, the anticipation - and rightly so. Big respect to everyone who helped with this wonderful fan choreo. The substitute players then got up from the bench and watched the spectacle.

The colleagues from the Flimmerkiste captured the minute-long choreo on film.

By the way, I laughed the most at the picture tweeters in Fandingen, who were obviously completely underexposed - and I wasn't alone

Since I knew that there would be a lot of confetti next to the block flag on the back straight, I couldn't decide which angle to take the photo from. The block flag looks better from far away so that the proportions are clear, but confetti always looks good up close. So I ran back and forth before the back straight to catch the right moments. With the foresight, I gave my loved one my D800e, because she was sitting in the main stand and had the best view of the great block flag. And she also managed to catch the best moment: the block flag was still fully spread out, but the confetti rain was already starting to rain on both sides.
