There has been so much going on recently that I haven't had a chance to show you the pictures from the "Day of Destruction". Behind this somewhat martial name lies a very fine K1 event in Wandsbek. Ralf Stege has established kickboxing at the highest level over the years. The event has such a high-caliber line-up that Chinese television is broadcasting it live.
There are also the fights of the evening as a moving image on YouTube. You'll certainly get a better impression of the speed of the sport than you do here in my photos. This sport has nothing to do with any boring boxing matches you see on television. And that's why I really enjoy kickboxing: fast, direct, hard, honest, fair. Maybe you’ll be a spectator at the next event of this kind…
