An extremely turbulent December for me is coming to an end. There was nothing contemplative about it. I haven't even opened the Advent calendar that I have a dear customer sent four weeks ago.
It was even nicer that I was able to quickly take photos of Christmas at the Brandenburg Gate on Sunday. Actually, that's all I wanted recreate this photo here. While that was one of my last photos with the Fuji, the following is one of the first with an analog Leica.
Yes, after around 20 years I have found joy in analogue photography again. The biggest hurdle for me was the digitization of the data. Looking at the examples above of a Porta400 KB scan, I think I'm on the right track. Soon more to come...
With this in mind: a happy celebration and a few relaxing days with your loved ones.

We and your loved ones wish the same, Stefan Groenveld!
I wish that for you too ☆
Lieber Stefan,
I wish you and your family, above all, relaxation over your days off.
The picture is really very nice, much nicer than the old one, which is of course due to the bokeh. It's good that there's always new technical territory for you to conquer, otherwise you'd probably get bored. A photographer recently told me that if you have a question i. If you have photo technology, then ask Stefan, because he has incredible know-how :-).
Best regards,
Conny
All the best to you too, Conny.
By the way, this is more about discovering ancient knowledge 😉
Likewise 🙂
Lieber Stefan,
We wish you and your loved ones the same – time to unwind, time to have fun, have time for what you otherwise never have time for. Time for love!
Thank you for the online year together, your contributions here in the blog and in the other media and one or two private chats.
Stay the way you are – it’s really great!

All the best to you too, especially good health! Hopefully we'll see each other again soon!
You too Stefan, and your loved ones!
Thank you Stefan, you and your loved ones and your bloody fingers too. Finally someone who doesn't want a "contemplative" holiday. The most important thing is to relax.
Merry Christmas to you too!
You too…and so…with everything!!
You too.
You and yours too. Greetings to wherever you are right now. 😉
