On Monday evening there was a very nice one, in keeping with the occasion Fan shop St. Pauli organized event to commemorate the crimes of the Holocaust. After the wreath-laying and a minute's silence in front of the stadium, an interesting and moving discussion followed with Norma van der Walde - daughter of the Jewish resistance fighter Kurt van der Walde - in the well-attended fan rooms.
Kurt van der Walde was awarded the Iron Cross by the Germans during the First World War, but was initially sentenced by the Nazis to two and a half years in the Fuhlsbüttel concentration camp and was then able to emigrate to England in 1939. He returned to Hamburg in 1946. His daughter was able to give an impressive account of the escape, the dissolution of the family, death, racism and mistrust after the return. She also made an opportunity to compare the way the Senate dealt with the Lampedusa refugees with the situation of her family at the time.
I was allowed to be there with the camera and took the opportunity to show my Leica to execute.
The picture of the wreath-laying ceremony with Jan-Philipp Kalla and Elena from the U18 is also relevant Official website of FC St. Pauli done. This is my first publication of a picture taken with my Leica M. For me a reason for double joy.
What have I missed that makes me read Leica Leica so often?
