At the moment you hardly have the chance to see good football. So I was very pleased when I found out that a friendly match between FC St. Pauli was taking place near me. Of course, all professional teams are currently doing training camps and that is always the time for friendly games. On Saturday, despite the extremely rainy weather forecast, I got on my bike for the football department of my favorite club, which already plays in the first Bundesliga, and was lucky. Not only because I was once again able to see great sporting achievements in front of my lens, but also because it only started to rain with the final whistle. OK, this time calculation benefited from the fact that the excellent referee Wolf had brilliant foresight and therefore shortened the half-time break by 5 minutes.
The game was played on Borgweg against a team with players from SG Eintracht Braunschweig and Viktoria Berlin. FC St. Pauli won confidently 2-2 with 1 goals from our young stars Jonathan and Rasmus. Serdal also hit the post twice. The interim equalizer came after an indirect free kick. And I also learned a new rule: if the goalkeeper doesn't play the ball back after 4 seconds, there is an indirect free kick from 6m. Should FIFA think about it...
What else was there? At blind football, Serdal greets spectators with a handshake. The professionals in the second Bundesliga could also think about it...
By the way, I photographed the series with my Leica M and the new firmware 2.0.1.5. This actually has something like Auto-ISO built in. I don't really believe in such technical gadgets, but with the very rapid light changes, I just tried out this feature. And lo and behold: it worked very well. I specified the aperture and time, and the automatic system then adjusted the ISO values depending on the light and subject. I could almost come to the conclusion that the Leica M is a completely normal camera.
Next time I'll come with you!!!
