What a weekend! I spent many hours at the Millerntor Gallery, saw chic art, chatted with good friends and was happy that the... Kiezkieker The stickers I made for me were sold very well at the art kiosk.

Of course, opinions can be divided about the Millerntor Gallery. The connection to the club and the district has become much looser at first glance. In fact, however, many of the artists exhibited have a relatively strong connection to FC St. Pauli. And I still like the wide range of art on display. Not everyone can like everything - and that's a good thing. What is important is that Viva con Agua succeeds in raising fresh money for fresh water in Africa in a pleasant way. The documentary "BLU UGA", which is also ran on ZDF, shows quite impressively that access to clean water is the first important step towards self-organized help for a more dignified life.
There are no two opinions possible about the “Antira” that is taking place in parallel at Millerntor this time. My opinion has changed since the last opportunity to take the group photo not changed, rather reinforced. This atmosphere among those involved is simply sensational. I am always very happy to be there and it is a special honor and pleasure for me to be able to take the group photo for these people.
Of course, this time it was once again extremely chaotic to capture everyone in one photo. I was still talking to the people from Glasgow in the front row about how it would be better to go out and up more, when I heard the first Bengalos go off and it was clear to me that the time for talking was over. I quickly ran back onto the pitch and tried to save what could be saved.

It is significant for my current state of photography that I took dozens of pictures with my D800e, but ultimately put 7 shots from my Leica together for this photo.
Now I have to admit that when I received the request from the fan shop for the group photo above, I had another thought in the back of my mind. I was actually able to implement it on Saturday evening after the official part of Antira. I've been wanting to make a Planet Millerntor for a long time - with the starting point as the center. This is not possible under normal circumstances, as only football players are otherwise allowed on the pitch. My bold request to the club remained - almost logically - unanswered. So now my chance for this picture on Saturday. Almost a unique opportunity. I used them. Here is my planet Millerntor.

Maybe there will be another opportunity to take a picture like this when the stadium is finished at some point...

The planet picture is awesome! You should print posters and sell them :)
I'm already curious to see if you can take the planet picture with the entire stadium, it sure looks great!!
At least I can now show the club what something like that could look like. Maybe it will work with a commitment.
<3
I really like the planet <3
Great pictures again!!!
Hello Stefan, the cover photo is awesome, your planet anyway (congratulations, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you can convince the club), but also the texts, this and the linked post. I'm not a football fan, but I almost always read your articles about it because your enthusiasm for this club and its fans is evident in words and pictures. LG, Connie
Great! I mean pictures & text.
