The old season It hasn't been over for so long before the new one is already casting its shadow. For every new season there are of course new jerseys for the FC St. Pauli players. Certainly one of the most discussed topics for football fans during the summer break. And this time this discussion is being further fueled by the new supplier Hummel.
The "launch" of the new jerseys is embedded in a campaign in which selected eyewitnesses can take a look at the jerseys for three seconds and then describe what they saw. The rather vague statements from the eyewitnesses only serve to fuel curiosity about the new jersey. I like this advertising campaign because it intelligently creates emotion and involves supporters of the club and uses them as testimonials. I think you can tell that it was thought up by a St. Pauli fan.
The good news for those interested in the jersey: on June 20.6th. Anyone can see them in the ballroom in the evening from 18:30 p.m. (Free tickets to the event are available here.). On Whit Monday, only those eyewitnesses and interested press representatives were allowed to see the jersey. I cheated my way into the latter.
A monitor was installed in a box (see cover photo) in the team cabin, which at the push of a button randomly displayed an overview and some details of one of the three new jerseys for three seconds. The eyewitnesses were then asked in front of the video camera about their impressions, which of course varied considerably.
I then grabbed the extremely friendly person responsible for the jersey designs and took a quick photo inside in front of the fresh grass much better condition than was at Antira.

By the way, Jason likes the black jersey best, which others present also reported with shining eyes. However, the black jersey is the cup outfit and experience shows that it is only worn once a season.
Oh yes, if you're interested in my impression of the jersey: I was allowed to examine the brown outfit for three seconds and I like the anti-fascist red that was incorporated there. Jason really developed a keen sense for FC St. Pauli and implemented it very subtly. Congratulations!

“…experience shows that this is only worn once a season…”
I love your writing!

only the HSV
Why is there always a fuss made about the rag every year? At some point it will be there and then everyone can see it. Some people think it's great, others maybe not so great, others think it's shit, etc.
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY
That's right 😉
Exactly
And I'll get it anyway.
Wouldn't you have put on Google glasses and then secretly watched a video? ;O)
I even took off my glasses because otherwise I wouldn't have been able to see anything due to my nearsightedness. 🙂
Hey Stefan! Thanks for the writeup! And amazing pics! Is it the photographer or the Leica?! 🙂 We appreciate all the comments, that you took the time to write a blog post, and your support! I hope to see you at Millerntor on the 20th and let's grab a drink together!!! VG, Jason
It's the man in front of the lens 🙂
Forgot to mention….the black jersey is a trophy jersey, so it's possible to wear more than once. Hopefully it'll help St. Pauli win a final……against Bayern!
If this is going to happen, your design will make history! Everybody will recognize it – even in a hundred years…
