Won against the region

On Whit Sunday I was in Kaiserslautern at the FC St. Pauli game against the local 1. FC. It's crazy how friendly my fellow photographers were towards me. Seldom experienced such warmth. OK, that one good video and photographer soul of the club comes from Hamburg, but that doesn't explain the attention of the other colleagues. Ulrich Roth also has one nice photo of me made on the sidelines...

So can there be a more worthy end to the season than this? fan shop-Special train and its wonderful fans of the brown and white club from the heart of the city to the region? Actually not, but then the FC St. Pauli team won for the first time at the Betzenberg.

By the way, the top thing was the singing-loving Sankt Pauli fans who came with us - even when I was sitting in front of the Lautern block in the first half, I could clearly hear the brown and white chants most of the time. Hats off, something really came across.

The rest of this 22-hour away trip should be kept secret, because there is an old rule: "What happens on the special train must stay on the special train." But sorry, folks - how cool was that? Pogo at 200 km/h in the party car, alleged Category C fans blaring along to Ralph Siegel music, beer showers after bumps on the track, self-adhesive floors to ensure stability, ...

And only then did this matter-of-factness with which fellow travelers in Altona helped to get the crates of drinks back out of the train towards the station entrance. Splendid!

Conclusion: with this highlight I can peacefully end this season...
