Blue sky, gentle sounds of waves, turquoise water, fine sandy beach, the smell of salt water and sunscreen, heavenly peace and total relaxation... As the interested reader of my blog may not have missed, I treated myself to a week's vacation. And what do you do on the beach all day? Read, of course - and taking photos 🙂 It wasn't exactly as listed in the opening sentence, but I still recovered well. But I don't have to take a vacation away from my camera - on the contrary, I really enjoy taking photos and relaxing behind the camera. The former is helpful for what I do - the latter is because I obviously can't be behind the camera all the time. Just thinking about accounting again, for example... I had my Fuji X-E1 within reach while I was chilling on the beach. With attached 35mm f / 1.4 I have taken impressions on the beach from time to time and today I'll show you my vacation snaps.
If you feel like going on vacation now: I was on the Turkish Riviera Hotel Kumul near Side and can make a recommendation for anyone who is not looking for shopping and sightseeing opportunities nearby, who is not in the mood for entertainment, but would like great, spacious rooms, lots of space on the beach and a relaxed atmosphere by the pool. My little Fuji X-E1 With this holiday snapshot I survived the first acid test, because the whole day on the beach is really tough on the material - I was still fumbling the fine grains of sand out of the cracks in my Nikon, which I usually take with me on holiday, weeks later. With the Fuji everything stayed clean so far, but I preferred not to change lenses - unless under special precautions, i.e. inside a bag. The sensor is already very exposed when no lens is attached and is not even protected by a mirror. The case got quite warm when exposed to sunlight, but I couldn't detect any technical problems. I have that for the water shots Underwater bag from digipac used. This inexpensive option I have already described using the camera underwater.

…yeah. It's so. Nice there. And it doesn't work without snaps. And the scary thing is that there is still something usable around. There are pictures there that I would hammer on the wall. Not that I expected anything else... 😎
Thank you!
When I saw picture 13 I also thought: that would be something to hang on the wall 🙂
Interesting that you chose the picture 🙂
Great pictures, but more importantly, you were able to relax.
I always have a hard time taking the camera with me to the beach. Too many concerns about sand and heat.
But tell me, there are quite a few pictures in which the tourists must have noticed you. Were there any questions or discussions?!? You don't always show your sunny side on the beach
No problem, I hardly took any photos in German 😉 Most of the time there was a short, pleasant exchange of words...
I love the 2nd photo with the shoes. Definitely makes you want to go on vacation.
