But it was a long battle until HSV Handball won clearly against TSV GWD Minden. HSV started the game very weakly and Minden was able to shorten the gap again and again. Ultimately, an outstanding Jogi Bitter put the diamond team on the road to victory.
I have Minden season before last still photographed in the second league. The team finally got promoted last season. Therefore, anything other than a victory for HSV Handball would have been a minor sensation. But March is a month with a lot of games for HSV. Concentration errors sometimes creep in during the pass.
I stepped in at fairly short notice for a colleague who was sick and would like to take this opportunity to express high praise to the HSV Handball press department. Organizing the transfer of accreditation and the deposit of a parking card on Friday shortly before 18 p.m. is by no means an everyday occurrence. It is not the first time that I have encountered this absolutely exemplary and professional attitude at HSV Handball. TOP!
The nice thing about handball for a photographer is that it never takes long until the next attack situation. The problem with handball for the photographer is that the speed of the game is very fast. The latter is not necessarily an ideal condition for trying out a camera that is still relatively unknown to me. The former motivated me to try it out anyway. So the wide-angle shots in the gallery are with the Fuji X100s made. Once I've tried a little more with the camera, I'll write down my opinion. Until then, I recommend you the opinion of David Hobby and Zack Arias. And there is another one great source for all Fuji X cameras.
Beautiful scenes!
But I don’t really like the “vintage look”.

Thanks. And people can have different opinions about image “looks”. Thank you for your utmost.
It was clear that the X100s could not replace the D4 in sports. But you have chosen good scenes where the Fuji can be used sensibly (e.g. 7 meters). And having the Fuji around your neck as a second camera is cheaper in terms of weight than a D7000 with a 24mm lens.
Thanks again for the link to my blog, although I only concentrate on the Fuji X cameras and not all models from Fuji 😉
Thanks for the tip. I corrected it 🙂
