On Saturday, around 15:30 p.m., there were actually 50 cheerful people standing in front of me with cameras. The Worldwide Photowalk 2012 began in Hamburg - virtually connected with over 30000 photographers worldwide. And there was a real connection between the 50 of us who met in Hamburg, with completely different photographic backgrounds and equipment.
Of course we have first a group photo made. Two people are missing from the photo through no fault of their own - some have traveled a long way, so not everything has to be on time. Bremen, Kiel and Leipzig – what a catchment area.
I was and am very happy with my group. Friendly, attentive, communicative and receptive. I was able to chat very well with many people and if everyone had half as much fun as I did, I'm very happy.
Very slowly it fills up our Flickr group with the pictures of the day. I have already picked out some recordings for you that I personally like. My thanks for allowing me to show these pictures here go to: Georg, Stefan, Jon, Georg, Roland and Endre.

Personally, I always find it exciting at photo walks like this to see what different pictures everyone comes back with - even though 50 people were walking together in a very small area. For me, that is the essence of photography: the different eyes with which we see and perceive our surroundings. And the equipment used is really just a tool.
Man, next time I should come to HH too...

Saturday, October 13th = wrong date - for me 😉 In the middle of the autumn holidays in North Rhine-Westphalia, where I'm somewhere else with the family...

It was really great and a nice round. I thought it would be much busier with so many people. But it was perfect.
And I'm also surprised how everyone had their own view of their surroundings...
