I summarized the last two hours before kick-off in a short time-lapse film. (Full HD version click here.)
Afterwards there was a wonderful choreo on the Nord, a stylish minute of silence for Günter Peine and a 90-minute football game against FC Ingolstadt, where I had the feeling that the FC St. Pauli team was still in test match mode. The starting eleven doesn't seem to be well-coordinated yet and not yet as a unit. I'm not really surprised after the upheaval during the summer break. So it can only get better. Hopefully…
What remains is a back straight that offers a completely new luxury: standing room with a front row view of the field. This was not the only reason why the mood among the first 4000 visitors was very relaxed. However, there is definitely still room for the stadium construction contractors Need for discussion. Fortunately, FC St. Pauli is about more than just football.
Here are a few more pictures of the game and everything surrounding it. If you would like to have the back straight as a cover photo for your Facebook timeline, please feel free to contact me Facebook picture borrow 😉
Thank you for allowing me/we to borrow the Facebook Bilod Gegenstraight. Your pictures turned out great as always! THANKS
Gladly. I'm happy if you continue to like my pictures. 🙂
Hi Stefan,
thanks for the pictures. But somehow I have the feeling that these photos are a little different than the football pictures I usually see from you. From the feel of it, their colors are a little paler, as if there was a veil over them. Is this due to my subjective feeling? Ultimately, I only notice this in comparison to your other works.
Tim,
well observed!
Great pictures, Stefan! I really really like it!
Thank you, I'm particularly happy for you!
