Photokina starts tomorrow and I'm about to sit on the train to Cologne to take another look at this biennial photo industry event. But before that I go to the game between FC St. Pauli and 1. FC Köln – two highlights on two days: awesome job : )
Anyway, I thought it was about time ancient picture to show from me. In the past - when smartphones only played a role in science fiction series - Polaroid scored points with the possibility of being photographed at their stand and being able to take the picture with you. Absolute madness. 1988 Polaroid presented their cameras and promised to be able to create instant photos in better quality and even faster. It didn't catch on. But it allows me to look back on them Photokina 1988.
No, the camera had no color cast. Yes, I had blue hair back then.
Great glasses too 🙂 Mine were similar at the time.
But tell me, were the girls there part of the booth? It's unbelievable how much has changed in 24 years 😉
Yes, the girls were part of the booth.
Hehe, cool.
Have fun at Photokina.
In 1988 I was also at photokina – for the first time. But I had nothing to do with Polaroids and flattened my nose on Nikon's F4... This year I'll be there on Friday and probably Saturday...
For me it was the third 🙂
But back then you at least feigned an interest in cars 🙂
If you take the pictures as proof, I would also be interested in promiscuity 😉
I'd rather not write the answer to that here 😉
Looking forward to hearing your answer in real life 😉
"See you tomorrow" 😉
Ralf
PS: I just got my tour – on paper, yes! – printed. Also provided with egg foon and pätt, I use the good old paper...
Enjoy
Ralf (only has to travel from Bonn, about 25 km up the Rhine)
Let's see if we can cross paths. I would be happy.
