iPhone snapshots of Helgoland

I was up at the weekend Heligoland. Ms. Bogdan and Mr. Buddenbohm had called and many text-savvy people came. As an image person, I was rather exotic. The others can put words on paper at crazy speed, but look surprised when I take a thousand pictures of gannets. Biggest difference: while my pictures were mostly blurry, the words of others – Ms. Bogdan – are spot on collects diligently.

After all, after several years I heard the word “Adjektive“ and now I think I know what it means.

We were accommodated in Aparthotel Classic, the owner Mr. Rickmers invited us. And the hotel is very trendy: everything retro. In general, the whole of Heligoland is very trendy, because retro is IN again. The island is decorated in the style of the 50s and the hotel implements this perfectly. Well, at least almost: fortunately, guests can enjoy newfangled comforts in their hotel rooms – refrigerators, microwaves and hot running water.

I have a few recordings with mine iPhone and the app “Hipstamatic“ Because I think it fits.

My conclusion of the weekend: Heligoland – I’ll be back. The The recovery effect is gigantic. Now for the first time I have to delete around two and a half thousand blurry bird images. Maybe more.

To get you in the mood, a short iPhoneMovies with birds.

  1. It was a joke.

Although I still wonder where you hid the adjudant who regularly brought in new lenses. After all, they couldn't have been possible in the small backpack.
