What FC St. Pauli supporters will certainly be talking about in a few weeks is this Birthday choreo from USP – Ultra Sankt Pauli. They celebrated themselves and their 10th anniversary. And how! Great choreo on the south. First cream. Impossible to present this splendor in one picture. That's why I don't even try. Just take a look at the little time-lapse film of the 5 minutes until kick-off. (Click on the arrows at the bottom right to make it bigger.)
A Highlight So before the game, the other after: the long-time team captain FC St. Pauli's Fabio Morena is said farewell as captain. At the end of last season he still had many teammates good wishes along the way given. Now he was able to reminisce about one last round of the stadium and say goodbye to the Millerntor with applause.
Maybe I lack some understanding of football fan culture, but I see in the video how fans hold up three banners and wave flags?! Is that "top notch", "magnificent" or "terrific choreography"?!
I saw better at the rhythmic gymnastics in London 2012 😉
But honestly, I probably can't make a judgment - I've never been to a live football game and only know it from TV. Nevertheless, I expected more from the textual praise.
Maybe you should just try to coordinate around 2 to 3000 people yourself so that everything works out like you see in the video :)
Especially since all the wallpaper, flags and pieces of paper and especially the huge block flag were not ordered from Flyeralarm but were painted, glued and sewn over weeks of work...
Above all, in the video, if I'm not mistaken, it's just a small excerpt, complete choreo:

Your linked video also shows other choreos. My time-lapse film shows the current choreo at the start of the game. There was also one at the end of the half-time break.

Micha, go to the stadium 🙂
Thank you Stefan, that is a very nice memory of a great day in the stadium. Even if the game itself, especially the first half, was more like pulling teeth than watching football, the choreography and Fabio's farewell were really great. I was once again happy to be in the north and to be treated to such a sight. All that remains to be said is that the away fans (I sat right next to them) were really great, super friendly, sang "it doesn't matter it doesn't matter it doesn't matter" when the opposition scored and "you can lose at St. Pauli". Very nice people, the Sandhauseners. Maybe I'll look at a map to find out where they are 😉
