For the 26th time I'm sharing my inspiration with you on a Sunday. 26 times means half a year. To mark this small anniversary, today I would like to point out a photographer who is special to me with special pictures. He is a constant source of good ideas for me and was therefore clearly my choice when it came to that own wedding pictures to get.
Ryan Brenizer is a young, friendly photographer from New York City who not only documents his work in his blog, but also regularly shares ideas and "making-ofs". He is an absolute recommendation for every photographer - not just wedding photographers - at least when it comes to working with people. And be glad that you can read his blog: New Yorkers tend to mumble - Ryan actually only speaks whole sentences in one word. That was a real challenge, especially during the preliminary telephone conversation...
To celebrate the day and because many friends have asked for it, today I'm showing you my aka our wedding pictures taken by Ryan Brenizer from New York - on a cold but beautiful March day in 2011. Except for one photo, all of the pictures were taken with the Nikon 35 and the Sigma 85s were created. Ryan accompanied us with 2 D3s.
By the way: the now legendary taxi photo really was a matter of seconds. We were sitting on a concrete block, Ryan crossed the street, two taxis drove past and then all we heard was a cry of joy. Ryan came over, beamed and said: "We can stop. I can't do it any better than that." And showed us the photo on his camera display.
But the other pictures are also wonderful memories of a very special one for us Wedding.
and you two look sooooooo amazing and happy.
Wait until you're in NYC the day after tomorrow, you'll look great and happy there too 😉
All you can really say is: Wow!
I really like this photographer's photos and the taxi picture is awesome!
Hi Stefan,
I think it's wonderful that you show us your photos here. These are very nice shots. You definitely had a lot of fun during your shoot. I personally follow Ryan's blog (and yours) too. All the best to you.
Hi Stefan,
wow these are really great pictures! I personally think the taxi picture and the silhouette of you two are the best!
Thanks for sharing!
Greetings, Stefan
