WOW – Part 13

Today we're going to Portland in the USA to see what he says is an untalented athlete. As a photojournalist, Sol Neelman photographed for various magazines for 10 years and also won a Pullitzer Prize with a team of reporters.

Since 2007 he has been travelling the world and photographing sport. But not just any sport. His website has the completely humourless title "The Wild Weird World of Sports" - and he means it. So let yourself be transported to a world away from the Bundesliga. Sol Neelman is all about wrestling on a Turkish meadow, spectacular cartoon character fights called kaij?, which can only be found in Japan, or lower-class ice hockey, cross biking, polo in the snow - he was even there at the strange funeral of "Evel Knievel".

And he always takes photos at eye level with the actors - so there is no need for anyone to be embarrassed. I like Sol Neelman's Crazy Sports Blog.

Oh yes: the German one is currently printing Kehrer Publishing a small booklet with his best pictures. On the corresponding one Facebook site There is current information and pictures about it - on on Amazon the possibility of pre-ordering.
