Daring men with flying crates

I've always wanted to see this event. And after a break of a few years, it was finally time for "Night of the Jumps" to stop in Hamburg again. I like watching these athletes on Eurosport. But somehow everything is even better live.

The only thing that bothered me about these “hip” events – as well as the Cliff diving – something that is annoying is the limited photographic options. These events are marketed in such a way that only organizer photographers can take the really hot shots. This time it actually worked - the only problem was that the paths to other places with good viewing angles were so long that I would have missed at least three riders.

So I would have liked to give you a different perspective so that you could, for example, see how high the boys jumped. But I can't. But I made a mini video that shows a jump - and that I'm better at taking photos than I am at making videos 😉

So, now to the pictures of the evening. I hope it comes across at least halfway how spectacular it all was.

  1. I was there with my little one too, it's a great thing!
In the end I queued up again for 1,5 hours for the signatures, well what can't you do for the children. When you see the drivers live you really realize how small they are.
