Thees Uhlmann special farewell greeting to the wine bar

That Thees Uhlmann not only has a football club to support, but also a self-confessed fan Saint Pauli wine bar everyone could hear it in his songs and read it in the local regional press. Nobody actually knew anything about his solo performance yesterday in that same wine bar - and yet the oasis of social drinking yesterday was more than just packed.

Unfortunately it has to Saint Pauli wine bar closed their doors because one of the tenants of the house on the field road, which was busy day and night, felt disturbed while enjoying the Sunday crime scene. Even if the wine bar isn't open there...

November 26th is that Farewell party and then at the latest my readers should visit this wonderful place for cultivated drinking pleasure. Sankt Pauli really loses something.

It's nice that Thees Uhlmann didn't miss the opportunity to come by for an hour with his guitar and some of his loving songs to perform. And in between there were also amusing stories from a musician's life. No star was there last night, but a friend. So there was a special wine bar version of "This is football". But he started the evening with "The salmon go up the river to spawn and die" and when the friends in the wine bar who were present sang along to the "Uh" in the chorus without being asked, Thees certainly didn't miss his band anymore.

However, the event was a disaster for photography. The usual dim light of the wine bar was the only light available. So I worked at ISO6400 and aperture 1.4 with 1/100s. This exposure time is definitely not enough to capture movements clearly. Plus it was super tight. And warm. No matter, I heard wonderful music, met nice people and when do you ever get so close Thees Uhlmann?

Have fun with my pictures of a memorable evening. Maybe it shows Wine bar yes, some of my other recordings.

  1. Great photos, you feel right in the middle of it again instead of just there.
The colors really rock, but my favorite is picture 10...because of the composition and porny texture in the background. Great tennis Stefan!
