I found the cheering of the fans in the Hamburg North Curve interesting when FC St. Pauli's deficit was announced. I found it even more interesting that the scores of the other games were constantly being shown in the stadium, but not FC St. Pauli's lead goal. I found it most interesting that many people in the business seats cheered after the game when FC St. Pauli's victory in Mönchengladbach was announced. I even overheard a snippet of conversation in which someone from that area said: "Well, at least Pauli won."
I'm currently on my way to Cologne to Photokina - and not just because of mine Appointment with Bill Frakes – and therefore just show you a few short impressions of yesterday’s game between HSV and VfL Wolfsburg.
Why shouldn't HSV supporters also be Pauli sympathizers? I was also happy for Pauli, they're a nice bunch ;). And Pauli is not Bremen :D.
I noticed the same thing too. Just without the snippets of conversation from the VIP area, because I'm not one.
You would probably look in vain for something the other way around with Pauli.
