At FC St. Pauli's last home game on a beautiful winter Sunday, everything was set up for a successful end to the first half of the season in front of the home crowd at Millerntor. Great choreography from the fans in the south curve, despite a mediocre game a 2-0 lead against the "bogey team" against whom the brown and white team had not won for a long time and even after the goal to make it 2-1 eight minutes before the end I didn't have the feeling that anything was going to go wrong.
And then came the second minute of added time. Deniz Naki scores the 3-1 right in front of my camera eye and when I take the camera down I see that there is no kick. I ask my surrounding colleagues and no one understands why the goal isn't counted. Seconds later I release my camera again to take photos of Fürth cheering. 2:2!
Sometimes I'm very happy to have this job because it meant I didn't have time to get upset about the incomprehensible goings-on on the field. I was looking too hard for the picture that would make the disappointment of the people of Hamburg clear.
Since these are the last current pictures of FC St.Pauli this year, there are a few more pictures this time.

Thanks for the great pictures!
As always, they are AWESOME!!!
You're right, picture number 7 is really impressive - your caption is very nice and makes the whole thing clear to you.
I am also reconciled with the referee Lutz Wagner, who I always considered to be competent and even humorous - which turned out to be true in retrospect.
Still, it's a shame about the two points we missed, but we'll get them in Paderborn.
